RIP Murder Manifest 2008-2010
Opnieuw slaat Magere Hein toe. We delen opnieuw met neerslachtig gemoed een heengaan mee van een talentvolle Nederlandse metalband. Murder Manifest houdt er na een korte maar zeer krachtige geschiedenis ook mee op.
It’s over. Murder Manifest is dead. In this short history we had four drummers, three guitarists, two bass-players and one singer. Too many line-up changes slowed down the machine which once had a great start.
We’re still proud with the results and response on our CD “Mental Surgery”. This debut album gave us the opportunity to do some great shows, festivals and a well-promoted tour through Europe.
In 2010 we took a break and wrote a lot of new songs. Kevin toured Europe with Heidevolk. We started with the recordings of a new EP right after the summer – but it took too much time. The songs are without a doubt a the best we wrote in those years but it will never see daylight. We ran out of energy due other priorities and lack of motivation. During a few beers and a good chat we decided to pull the plug.

Samen met enkele leden van het Groningse Expulsion werd
weer een nieuwe band opgericht, hardcore band Lies! draagt nu de erfenis van beide bands.
