Titel nieuwe Forgotten Tomb cd bekend
De nieuwe Forgotten Tomb cd zal “Darkness in Stereo” komen te heten. De volgende woorden van Herr Morbid zijn op de website van de band te lezen:
The new songs are really exciting… It’s still early to tell how the album will turn out, but it seems like it will be a really varied album, including influences from our previous works as well as some completely new elements. The album is turning out very strange and powerful. By now it sounds like Forgotten Tomb jamming with Sisters Of Mercy in a deserted industrial factory… Apart for the usual Black/Doom approach, it seems like the new songs have a really Dark-Wave feeling reminding of the old Dark Rock bands of the ’80s.
The music of FT is becoming more emotional day after day, we can easily say this will be the most emotional album ever recorded by the band. Boundaries between different genres are being broken, then you’ll have serious problems in labelling “Darkness In Stereo” in a precise genre. Once more, the title of the album says it all. For sure we can say you’ll finally hear Herr Morbid singing with his “real” voice, so not just screams but a lot of depressive, emotional clean vocals. If you expect a Black Metal-oriented album, you’re totally wrong. […] if you want to listen to fresh, disheartening, soul-touching music instead then you’ll love “Darkness In Stereo”.
Er zijn plannen voor een 2-3 track single, die ergens in de komende maanden opgenomen zal worden.
